OnePlus 15 vs. Pixel 10 Pro is an Interesting Comparison

Google released the latest Pixel back in August 2025, while the OnePlus 15 just came out in October.

And comparing them is interesting, to say the least. One phone’s strength is another’s weakness. What are those strengths and weaknesses exactly?

Read on to find out.

The Performance Difference

This might just be the most significant difference between the two. When I say significant, I mean day and night. Let me elaborate on this.

OnePlus 15 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 12 gigs of ultra-fast LPDDR5 RAM. On the flip side, Google Pixel 10 Pro houses a Tensor G5 with 16 gigs of LPDDR5, but not the same, faster variant that powers the OnePlus 15.

On paper, it doesn’t sound like a significant difference, but when you test both of these phones side by side, you will see a difference. OnePlus 15 is miles ahead of Pixel 10 Pro in the performance department. I am saying this with full confidence after testing them thoroughly.

The best way to test real-world performance is through gaming. I even upgraded my internet plan for seamless testing by reaching out to Xfinity en Español, my ISP’s customer service. So, with an internet plan that is more than enough for online gaming, the comparison boils down to raw performance.

OnePlus 15 is just extremely snappy, opens apps pretty quickly, and offers a top-notch gaming experience.

Pixel 10 Pro is fine when using most of the applications, but as soon as you stress it out, it will feel weak in the performance department. For example, I was playing Genshin Impact to test the gaming performance of both. OnePlus was significantly smoother. Pixel was fine, but not as great as the OnePlus.

To put it simply for you, if you need a phone with great performance, avoid the Pixel 10 Pro because it isn’t that great.

The Camera Difference

The Pixel is equal in the point score in my camera comparison.

Let me start on this by quickly listing down the camera specifications of both the phones: Pixel 10 Pro has three cameras at the back. One of them is the main 50MP lens, the other one is the 48MP ultrawide lens, and the last one is a 48MP telephoto lens.

OnePlus 15 is more or less the same in the camera department: 50MP main shooter, 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens.

It sounds like there won’t be any difference, but when the story isn’t the same in the real world.

OnePlus has shrunk down the camera sensors even though the megapixel count is the same. All three of the lenses are smaller, and that’s why they struggle in comparison to the Pixel 10 Pro.

Pixel has one of the best cameras, and that can be seen in my testing. The photos look vivid, nice, and well-balanced.

On the flip side, the photos coming out of the OnePlus 15 look artificially enhanced, which they are. They are no longer collaborating with Hasselblad for the color science, and now, their colors look out of place. The greens look way too green, and the yellows look way too yellow.

Pictures from the Pixel 10 Pro look natural (more or less what we see with our eyes).

Anyway, if cameras in a smartphone are dear to you, the Pixel 10 Pro is the way to go.

The Battery Difference

OnePlus takes the lead back here with one-of-a-kind battery life. The phone is a beast when it comes to battery life and overall battery experience.

Going bonkers with the numbers, the OnePlus 15 has a whopping 7,300mAh battery. Pixel 10 Pro has a 4,870mAh battery capacity. Adding fuel to the fire, OnePlus chargers come out of the box, whereas the Pixel 10 Pro comes with only a cable.

On to the real-life usage of both the phones: I gave my best trying to drain every last bit of battery from the OnePlus 15, but I failed. Pixel 10 Pro was dead at the end of the day with a screen on time of around seven hours.

Well, to be fair, the Pixel 10 Pro isn’t bad. It is just that the OnePlus 15 is being unfair to the rest of the Android phones.

If you need the best battery life out of these phones, the OnePlus 15 is the way to go.

The Display Difference

The display is better on the OnePlus 15 for a few reasons:

  • It comes with Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid support
  • It is a 165Hz display (just like a gaming monitor)
  • It is a little bigger than the Pixel’s display

The rest of the specs are the same for both phones.

Pixel shines in the brightness department as it gets plenty bright (up to 3300 nits), and in the pixel density department with 495ppi as compared to the OnePlus 15’s 450ppi. You won’t notice the difference in the pixel density, but high brightness might come in handy when using it outdoors.

Now, let me address the elephant in the room: which one should you spend your hard-earned money on? If you prefer cameras over performance, the Pixel 10 Pro is the way to go. If you don’t use cameras a lot and prefer raw performance and endurance, the OnePlus 15 might just be the perfect choice.
